1. How to Extract Image Frames from a Video File

Use popular open-source VLC Media Player which let you extract images through the command line. The VLC supports all the popular Video formats without you have to install codecs separately. Sample command to extracting images using VLC:

	  C:\VideoLAN\VLC>vlc "C:\videos\input.avi" --video-filter=scene
	     --vout=dummy --scene-ratio=1
	     --scene-prefix=img- --scene-path=C:\output_folder\
